Fall Into Fall
With these Fab Beauty Products!
Okay, okay. So, I live in Phoenix, AZ where we don’t get a typical fall and the weather isn’t what you would call crisp. However, there are enough changes in the weather and the Starbucks menu so, my makeup and skin care routine need to change too. erHhkdkk fereHere are some of my go-to beauty products to help with that transition.
Prolong That Tan!If you are like me, that gorgeous golden tan you worked all summer to get, is starting to fade. Hold onto it a while longer with a self-tanner. Where I live, we can wear shorts well into November and so it’s necessary to keep those legs a gleamin’! Loving Tan 2 Hour Express is my go-to self-tanner that creates a bronze goddess look and not an orange streaky mess. It also doesn’t dry me out as much as other self-tanners. I use the St. Tropez body glove, which helps apply it flawlessly, without streaks, and keeping your hands tan free.

| Turn Those Eyes Into A Pumpkin Spice Dream! When we think of fall, we think of pumpkin, changing leaves, and, duh, pumpkin spice flavored everything! Morphe by Jaclyn Hill’s Vault Armed and Gorgeous palette speaks all of this to me! With the rich pigments and buttery application, this palette is sure to be a favorite all season long. And the price, very doable! | |
Switch up the bronzerDuring the Summer, bronzer is key to a glowing, tan face. But in the fall, it can start to look too orange. I then head for contour territory and stay there for the remainder of Winter. When looking for a contour powder, you don’t want one that is too orange and yet you do not one that is too gray. I love Smashbox Contour palette. The contour powder is perfect for most skin tones. And bonus, it comes with a bronzer and highlighting powder! |

| Foundation Switch UpInevitably, your tan will start to fade so don’t make the mistake of using the same foundation shade in the colder months, that you used in the Summer! At all times, I have 2 shades of my favorite foundation (bare Minerals Performance Wear Liquid Foundation). One shade that matches my skin when I am at my darkest, and one that matches in the dead of winter, when I am at my fairest. I mix those 2 to create my in-between shade during fall. | |
Changing with the LeavesI love a nude lip! But I typically like to darken it a bit for the colder months. Mac’s Matte Lipstick in Velvet Teddy is universally flattering on all shades and the formula, although it be a matte lip, is not drying like a liquid lipstick. Dry lips in the colder months can be a force to be reckoned with so this formula, I recommend! |
